TaylorMade STEALTH2
You may have heard the term "Fargiveness" whenever reading or talking about the STEALTH2. While maintaining the classy look of black and red, the club performs very well. It delivers strong ball speeds and solid, repetitive distances. The 60X Carbon Twist Face is an enhanced version of Inverted Cone Technology to help maintain ball speed on off-center strikes and increase forgiveness. This would be a great option for golfers looking for distance and forgiveness.

PING G430 MAX
The G430 MAX features Optimized T9S+ Forged Face, which is a shallower, variable-thickness face. The transition design creates more deflection to generate faster ball speed for bigger distance gains. The adjustable weights offer extreme forgiveness and optimize ball flight while retaining a high MOI. The tungsten backweight can be moved to position the center of gravity for delivering +/- yards change between the DRA, Neutral, and Fade settings. This club is great for golfers who are looking for a club that compensates for bad strikes and those who are looking for custom adjustments. Also, as the G430 MAX is popular among all kinds of golfers, there are plenty of fitting options.

XXIO 2022
A remarkably ultralightweight feel and significant ball speed improvement that helps avoid swing fatigue caused by heavier woods. The new ActivWing manipulates airflow and improves aerodynamics at the start of your downswing to stabilize the clubhead and tighten your impact pattern. The REBOUND FRAME like a spring within a spring, transfer energy to the golf ball far more efficiently than standard designs. Great for older golfers or those who have slow-to-moderate clubhead speeds.

 

TaylorMade SIM2 MAX
The SIM2 MAX, which leverages the same tech as the SIM2 (Speed Injected Twist Face SIM Inertia Generator, and Forged Ring Construction), is a "Mid launch" driver. It is more forgiving and has a higher launch. The forgiveness may slightly increase your ball speed. This would be great for golfers looking for a forgiving driver, but we would like to note that you may not notice as much of a difference from the SIM MAX.

TaylorMade STEALTH 2 HD
Has the same 60X Carbon Twist Face but the STEALTH 2 HD has a draw-bias while maintaining it's 'Fargiveness'. It has amazing ball speed and shots are very consistent offering very robust launch and spin. The STEALTH 2 HD also has a premium sound that may boost a golfer's confidence on the course. We recommend this club for those looking for very forgiving clubs and a draw bias to turn a slice into a draw.

 

Top rated Driver
The TaylorMade STEALTH2 took the top of the list and ranked higher than it did in the previous year. It's popularity and top spot in the list is valid as it has remained an excellent choice for all types of golfers. It's a very forgiving driver that's easy to launch while offering low spin. It's very easy to square up and turn over at impact. As stated, this is a great choice for golfers looking for distance and forgiveness.

PING G425 MAX
A fairway wood with wonderful feel and sound. It has consistent trajectory whether on a mat or hitting off the grass. The Facewrap, thin steel that wraps around the crown and sole, flexes to produce faster ball speeds and higher launch. Another tech feature is the Spinsistency, that produces consistent spin across the face via curvature. The tungsten weight positioned low and back in the club head also helps with the launch.

TaylorMade STEALTH
Using advanced multi-material construction, the STEALTH fairway created high MOI. Thanks to it's carbon crown, the weight was shifted lower and deeper in the club head, creating the ultimate combo of distance and forgiveness. The strong and durable C300 steel face delivers a powerful launch and when paired with the Twist Face, straighter shots on mis-hits are possible.

TaylorMade SIM 2 MAX
The Forged Ring Construction provides consistently long distance and optimal forgiveness. Forgiving and powerful are the two key features for this design. It delivers high MOI with a 24g tungsten weight position on the Inertia Generator. The TPS Front Weight is strategically located on the sole of the club to encourage optimal launch and spin properties.

PING G430 MAX
Like the G430 MAX Driver, the fairway wood consists of the same technology make this a great choice. Ultra lightweight, more flex that generates faster ball speed with higher launch, reduces spin, and adjustable for great customization to maximize distance and accuracy.

XXIO 2022
Similar to the PING G430 MAX, the XXIO 12 Fairway takes after it's Driver parent. The ActivWing stabilizes the clubhead by altering aerodynamic forces during the first half of the downswing. It also features the Rebound Frame, four alternating layers of stiff and flexible zones to enhance overall COR. To improve COR across the entire cup face, the face center is larger and thinner, which increases ball speed and distance no matter where you strike the ball.

Top rated Fairway
The PING G425 MAX is a classic that has ranked higher than it's previous year. While the newer G430 has been released, the G425 has remained an excellent choice for all types of golfers. Some may even prefer the performance they get out of the G425 as it offers amazing performance for a much lower price point than it's successor. Some may not even be able to tell the difference when it comes to comparing the two. For high handicappers, this is a top choice providing a mix of accuracy and forgiveness.

PING G425
With similar features to the driver and fairway, golfers are going to like the tech and feel of the PING G425 hybrid. It is extremely forgiving, amazing from an array of different lies, and the adjustable loft sleeve makes for a great option in the bag. This would be a great for golfers looking for a forgiving hybrid, although the sound that it makes might not be the best. The tin-like sound may deter those who care about how a club sounds upon impact.

PING G430
The big brother to the G425, it looks similar but offers an updated appearance and new technology. Impact feels snappy and the ball feels like it flies off the face. It produces a medium volume that sounds great to many golfers. No matter what kind of mishit you have, it tends to produce favorable results. However, when you strike the sweet spot, the smash factor tends to be high and provides great distance. This hybrid is flexible and tends to cover for bad swings, best for golfers who are looking for a hybrid that corrects your mishaps.

TaylorMade SIM 2 MAX
A great hybrid for those looking to bridge the gap between their irons and 3 wood. It is very forgiving and can be a fairway replacement. Small misses will end just short of great strikes and toe or heel strikes will also turn out fine. Implementing the Speed Pocket and Twist Face, this is a hybrid that's purely focused on distance and forgiveness. This is best for golfers that are looking for distance but would like to cut down on size and weight.

TaylorMade STEALTH
An aesthetically beautiful club at address. It is a consistent performer that provides high launch and distance with a draw bias. The carbon crown, V steel sole, and shaft combination promote the high launch. The Speed Pocket helps maintain ball speed on low face shots. Contact feels crisp and powerful offering a great experience combined with the cool look. For golfers who are looking for a draw bias hybrid that is very forgiving while also considering the looks, this may be a great choice for you.

TaylorMade SIM MAX
Also known as the Max Rescue, has a V-shaped sole that helps with turf interaction whilst adding versatility, to help play it from tight lies to out of the rough. The C300 steel face helps create a stable and faster face which produces better ball speed to maximize distance. The twist face technology in this hybrid corrects face angle to help straighten the ball's flight path even on off center shots. Forgiving but not as much as others on this list. For golfers looking for more adjustability, this club may not be for you as it has limits when it comes to fitting the club.

Top rated Hybrid:
The PING G425 hybrid remained in the top position in our ranking when compared to last year, a true testament as to how popular and amazing this club is. Much like the driver, it is more affordable yet provides golfers with a consistent and high launching feel. It excels at precision and control especially for long approaches or tee shots on tight holes. Although it's an older model when compared to the G430, it is very competitive and beat many other great options in our top 5 list.
