LYDIA KO REACHES NO. 1 on RACE to the CME GLOBE RANKINGS

A Partnership and Victory

IRVINE, Calif. (Oct. 10, 2022) – With Proto Concept irons in her bag, Lydia Ko has risen to the No. 1 spot in the LPGA’s Race to the CME Globe rankings and currently is ranked No. 1 Scoring Average on tour. The 25-year-old New Zealander began playing Proto Concept irons earlier this year at the suggestion of her personal club fitter. She made the change and immediately won the 2022 Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio (Jan. 30) and shortly thereafter signed an endorsement agreement with Proto Concept and Golf Partner USA, an affiliated brand.

“Proto Concept Golf and Golf Partner USA would like to congratulate Lydia Ko for reaching the No. 1 ranking in the LPGA’s Race to the CME Globe and in being No. 1 in Scoring Average on the LPGA Tour,” said Yasufumi Kawasaki, Brand Producer of Proto Concept. “Lydia plays Proto Concept irons because they have helped maximize her performance.”
